Brad Kinney MD. Currently serving as a US Navy Emergency Medicine Physician, he graduated from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 2012, then completed a Transitional Internship at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) in 2013. Following Internship, he completed the US Navy’s Undersea Medical Officer Course (UMOC), then served as a Dive Medical Officer in the Naval Special Warfare Community before returning to Emergency Medicine residency at NMCP in 2016 and graduating in 2019.
During this time, he completed the Military Tropical Medicine Course in Bethesda and Peru, the US Navy Dive School in Panama City, the Mountain Medicine Course at the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, and elective civilian courses in Advanced Wilderness Life Support and Backpacking Medicine. In residency, he also instructed medical students and fellow residents during multiple military exercises and wilderness medicine courses as a senior resident and while serving as Academic Chief Resident. He is an avid adventurist and outdoorsman, and his unique interests in operational, combat, and resuscitation medicine spearheaded the creation of this information and knowledge sharing hub – Kinnetik Medicine.
